GAIGF coordinates; AI as public goods
The Global AI Governance Forum (GAIGF) continues to coordinate existing frameworks such as the GDC. The EU has introduced a Technology Generation Contract, giving citizens the chance to vote on the fundamental principles of AI use every five years. Civil society is now fully involved in setting global technical standards. Many AI applications are becoming public goods through a combination of government funding, civil society pressure, and the prevalence of open-source solutions.
